Jason Holder

Jason Holder has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Jason currently holds the position of Chief Innovation and Internal Services Officer (CIISO) at the City of Indianola, Iowa, where they are responsible for overseeing the city's information and technology systems. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Information Technology at the same company, where they managed strategic and tactical planning, communication between staff and vendors, and coordination of services.

Before joining the City of Indianola, Jason worked at the Iowa Department of Corrections for over two decades. Jason held various roles during their tenure, including Senior Information Technology Manager, Information Technology Manager, System Administrator, SharePoint Administrator, and IT Project Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for developing IT strategic plans, creating and implementing IT policies, managing budgets, and overseeing critical infrastructure and technology programs for the department's employees.

Jason's career in IT began in the United States Air Force, where they specialized in network, radar, and information systems. Jason served in this role for ten years before transitioning to civilian positions in the field.

Jason Holder earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Park University in 2012. Prior to that, they attended the Community College of the Air Force from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician. In terms of certifications, Jason obtained multiple certifications including Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master, CompTIA Network+ ce Certification, G Suite Administration from Google Cloud, Google Apps Certified Administrator from Google, Microsoft Certified Professional, and CompTIA Security+ ce Certification.
