Julie Z. has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 with a Marketing Intern role at Worlds of Fun. In 2011, they worked as an Office Administrator at Samson Dental Practice Management. In 2012, they were an Associate Relations Assistant at DST Systems. From 2013 to 2020, they were employed at Cerner Corporation, where they held roles as a Scrum Master, Development Project Manager, Solution & Test Designer, and Business Consultant. Currently, they are a Sr. Program Manager and Project Manager/Scrum Master at Indico Data, where they work on transforming unstructured data into actionable insights.

Julie Z. obtained their Master of Science in Ethical Strategic Leadership from the University of Central Missouri in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelors in Communications Studies with an emphasis in Interpersonal Communication from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2011. In 2020, they also obtained their Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
