Michael Megalli

Michael Megalli is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in brand strategy, entrepreneurship, and marketing. Currently serving as the Managing Partner at The Djinn Dept. since August 2016, Megalli also established and leads indie.biz as Founder and CEO, providing resources for independent business owners. In addition to these roles, Megalli teaches Entrepreneurial Marketing at the University of Washington's Foster School of Business, focusing on innovative marketing strategies for resource-constrained entrepreneurs. Prior to these positions, Megalli held senior roles at Microsoft in brand strategy, and worked at notable firms such as Group 1066, Siegel & Gale, and Ogilvy & Mather, contributing to strategic initiatives for major clients like Microsoft and MasterCard. Megalli holds a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from Brown University and a Master of Professional Studies from New York University.
