Daniel Simon

Professional Musician, Talent Manager, and Educator at Indie-Pop

Daniel Simon has had a varied and impressive career. In 2018, they worked as a Sales Associate at Gap Inc., where they operated a computerized and mobile register, focused on customer service in a diverse and congested tourist environment, and audited inventory, organized the stockroom, and restored and merchandised the sales floor to meet quality standards. In 2019, they were a Teaching Assistant at The Honors College at Florida International University (FIU) and Co-Founder of the Florida International University Leadership Council, where they established the Council's foundation by co-writing its constitution, designed logo and website, and created and managed media accounts. Daniel also managed the FIU HCLC Donation Drive for the Bahamas, coordinating inventory and transportation of more than 200 donations for hurricane disaster victims. In 2020, Daniel was a Senior Law Clerk at CORPlaw.us, where they drafted memoranda, legal opinions, contracts, and various legal documents, and drafted term sheets and stock/asset purchase agreements for private company financings. Daniel was also a Student Attorney at Panther Mock Trial, where they worked with the President and board to direct and supervise activities for the club, conduct post-competition analysis of the team and streamline operations. Additionally, they were a Professional Musician, Talent Manager, and Educator, performing solo and with orchestras, chamber groups, theater, and dance Companies in the U.S. and internationally, and producing commissioned music and arrangements. In 2021, Daniel was an alumn of the University of Miami School of Law Summer Legal Academy and a Donald J. Weidner Summer for Undergraduates Scholar at Florida State University College of Law, where they were selected as one of 60 students from a competitive pool of thousands of applicants to participate in an academically rigorous introductory program to law school, received first-year law school curriculum courses taught by FSU Law faculty, and planned and prepared for delivering oral arguments before a panel of attorneys and judges. Finally, in 2022, Daniel was an ATF TRIALS 2022 Scholar at Advantage Testing, where they took residence at Harvard or New York University throughout the summer.

Daniel Simon began their education in 2017, earning a Superintendent's Diploma of Distinction in Music Performance, General from NEW WORLD SCHOOL OF THE ARTS PTSA. In 2018, they began attending The Honors College at Florida International University (FIU), where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Business and Entertainment and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government by 2022. In 2019, they completed a Study Abroad Program in China: Trade, Power, and Culture at Florida International University. In 2021, they attended a Full Scholarship Pre Law Program at the University of Miami School of Law and a Full Scholarship Pre Law Program at Florida State University College of Law. In 2022, they attended a Full Scholarship Pre-Law Program at Harvard Law School. Additionally, in 2020, Daniel obtained a Heart saver CPR AED certification from CPR, AED and Safety Education.
