Maira Nevarez

Maira Nevarez has extensive work experience in finance and operations. Maira started their career as a Financial Consultant Intern at Merrill Lynch Private Client Group in 1995 and then worked as a Teacher's Assistant at The Anderson School at UCLA. Maira later joined Arthur Andersen LLP as an Experienced Senior Auditor from 1996 to 2000. In 2001, they worked as a Summer Associate in the Investment Banking Division at Credit Suisse First Boston. From 2002 to 2012, they served as the VP of Finance for Univision and TeleFutura Television Group. Maira then worked as the Director of Finance Business Licensing Support at Paramount Pictures from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2015, they held the role of VP of Finance for E! Entertainment and Esquire at NBCUniversal, Inc. Currently, they are the EVP of Finance and Operations at INDIGENOUS MEDIA, starting in November 2015.

Maira Nevarez attended Harvard Business School from 2000 to 2002, where they earned their MBA in Business. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1996, they studied at UCLA and obtained a BA in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting.
