Larry Short

Larry Short's work experience spans over several decades and includes various roles in the telecommunications industry.

Larry started their career at Southwestern Bell Telephone in 1980 as a Systems Technician, where they were responsible for the maintenance and development of E911 telephone systems in Tulsa, OK. Larry also had experience with computer-aided dispatch systems and PC hardware and software maintenance.

In 1998, Larry became the Manager of the Network Transport Analysis Center at Southwestern Bell Telephone, where they managed a team of 20 employees. Larry'sduties included surveillance, repair, and maintenance of the telephone network's inter-office facilities in Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Larry joined SBC in 1999 as a Senior Technologist and provided technical consulting and guidance for the Regional Vice President and sales team. Larry was responsible for vendor management and assisted in sales direction and product support for the 911 district.

From 2001 to 2006, Larry held multiple roles at SBC, including Technical Sales Manager and Technical Sales Manager for Enhanced 911 Solutions in various regions. Larry managed teams of Technical Sales Specialists and Project Managers and was involved in engineering, design, and implementation of Enhanced 911 Solutions. Larry also interfaced with manufacturers for product evolution and handled employee scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and salary treatment.

Larry joined AT&T in 2006 as a Technical Sales/Sales Engineering Manager for Public Safety Solutions. Larry managed twelve Technical Sales Specialists and six Sales Engineers and was responsible for the design and implementation of Enhanced 911 Solutions in twenty-two states. Larry also worked on product evolution and interfaced with manufacturers.

After leaving AT&T, Larry held executive positions at various companies. Larry served as Vice President and Director of Sales Engineering at a Public Safety Software Company from 2011 to 2012. Larry was Vice President of Services and Next Generation & Network at Airbus DS Communications from 2014 to 2017. Finally, they served as Executive Director and Vice President of NGCS & Public Safety Network Services at INdigital telecom starting in 2017, where they currently serve.

Throughout their career, Larry has demonstrated expertise in telecommunications, particularly in the field of Enhanced 911 Solutions. Larry has a strong background in sales, management, and product evolution.

Larry Short attended Northeastern A&M Jr. College in Miami, OK from 1979 to 1980, where they studied Wildlife Management. Later, in 1983 and 1984, they enrolled at Rogers University in Claremore, OK, pursuing a degree in Business.
