Baher Mankabady

Senior Vice President, Global Medical Safety at Indivior

Baher Mankabady, MD has extensive work experience in the field of medical safety and pharmacovigilance. Baher started their career at Cairo University Hospitals as an Orthopedic Surgeon from 2000 to 2003. Baher then worked as an Orthopedic Surgeon at SAUDI GERMAN HOSPITAL ASEER from 2003 to 2006.

Afterwards, they joined the Henry Ford Health System as a principal investigator, where they managed global clinical trials and supervised study-related activities from 2006 to 2011.

Baher then worked at inVentiv Health as a Medical Director, responsible for safety evaluation activities of clinical trials and routine signal detection for marketed products in 2012.

From 2012 to 2013, they worked at Reckitt Benckiser Pharmaceuticals as a Medical Advisor in the Global Safety and Pharmacovigilance Department, ensuring compliance with regulations and conducting safety audits.

In 2013, they served as the Interim Head of the Global Safety and Pharmacovigilance Department at Reckitt Benckiser Pharmaceuticals.

Baher continued their work at Reckitt Benckiser Pharmaceuticals in 2014 as the Global Head of the Global Safety and Pharmacovigilance Department, overseeing the management and compliance of pharmacovigilance function globally.

Since 2015, they have been at Indivior, where they have held various positions. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President of Global Medical Safety, responsible for overseeing the collection, evaluation, reporting, and compliance of adverse events for Indivior Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they held the role of Vice President in the Global Safety and Pharmacovigilance Department, providing leadership and medical expertise in safeguarding the health of patients administered Indivior products. Additionally, they also worked as the Global Medical Director for the Global Safety and Pharmacovigilance Department at Indivior, overseeing all global pharmacovigilance activities and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Baher Mankabady, MD attended Cairo University from 1990 to 1998, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine. Baher also completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program at Cairo University Medical School from 1990 to 1997. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Orthopedic residency from Cairo University.
