Thierry Guyot McIps

Thierry Guyot MCIPS has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in procurement and strategic sourcing. Thierry currently holds the position of Head of Global Direct Procurement and Strategic Sourcing at Indivior, a role they started in July 2022. Prior to this, they were the Head of EU Contract Manufacturing and Global Direct Strategic Sourcing at the same company from August 2021 to July 2022. Thierry also served as the Global Procurement Manager, Directs at Indivior from November 2017 to July 2021.

Before joining Indivior, Thierry worked as a Senior Procurement Specialist at Afton Chemical from August 2015 to November 2017. Thierry also held various roles at Novartis Pharma AG, including Global Head of Sourcing, Chemical Development/Head of Procurement Originator API & Intermediates Dev from February 2014 to July 2015, and Senior Sourcing Manager, Chemical Development from June 2011 to January 2014.

Prior to their roles at Novartis, Thierry worked at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as the Chemistry Outsourcing Lead, External Research Solutions from July 2007 to June 2011. Thierry started their career at Peakdale Molecular, where they served as a Technical Manager from May 2005 to June 2007. Before that, they worked at Tocris Bioscience, first as a Chemistry Team Leader from October 2000 to January 2005 and then as a Synthetic Organic Chemist from February 1999 to September 2000. Thierry began their professional journey with an industrial placement at AstraZeneca in the role of a CASE award participant from May 1998 to August 1998. Thierry also had an industrial placement at DuPont from April 1994 to August 1994.

Thierry Guyot MCIPS has a Ph.D. in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Liverpool, which they obtained between 1996 and 1999. Prior to that, they completed a DEA degree in Fine Chemistry from Université de Rennes I from 1990 to 1995. Thierry also participated in an Erasmus program at the University of Exeter in 1995 and obtained a Baccalaureate degree from Lycee Polyvalent de Loudeac from 1987 to 1990. Additionally, they have certifications including MCIPS (full Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply) - Chartered Procurement and Supply Professional from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, as well as PRINCE2® 2017 Foundation & Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
