Carl Norris

Carl Norris has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Carl recently worked as the Chief Information Officer at IndoorMedia Marketing, where they were responsible for managing the IT infrastructure and data collection. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Information Technology at AutoMate Label Solutions, LLC, where they oversaw the IT department and led the cloud migration for multiple company locations.

Before their role at AutoMate Label Solutions, Carl worked at Cisco for over 19 years. Carl held multiple positions, including System Architect and System Engineer. In these roles, they played a crucial role in designing and implementing enterprise routing and switching platforms, as well as leading teams to deploy video origination and content delivery services for Time Warner Cable.

Carl also has experience in project management and consulting. Carl worked as a Senior Project Manager at ClearWorks Technologies, where they successfully launched high-speed internet connectivity and RF video delivery for planned gated communities. Additionally, they served as the Director of Technology at PBK, providing architectural guidance for incorporating network technologies in schools and school districts.

Early in their career, Carl worked as the Principal Engineer at St. John's School, where they were responsible for providing network connectivity and data center services. Carl also owned and operated their own consulting firm, Norris Consultants, focusing on SMB server and network support.

Carl Norris attended Texas State University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) with a field of study in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. In addition to their degree, Carl also holds the certifications of CMNP from Cisco Meraki, obtained in June 2019, and CMNA from Cisco Meraki, obtained in November 2014.
