Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in telecommunications. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at PT. Indosat Tbk since December 2022, Amit is tasked with overseeing the Technology Strategy for Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and delivering Enterprise solutions across a vast network. Previously, Amit held various senior roles at Optus between 2018 and 2022, including Senior Director of Transport Engineering and Director of IP Design, where responsibilities included leading teams in infrastructure procurement and network modernization. Before that, Amit worked at Vodafone from 2010 to 2017 in positions such as E2E Architecture and Planning Manager and Transmission Engineering Manager, focusing on IP architecture and transmission network evolution. Amit's career began at Vodafone Australia, where rapid advancement was achieved shortly after joining the graduate program. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business and Technology from UNSW and a Bachelor of Electronics and Communications from Curtin University.
