Mohamed Galala

Mohamed Galala is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at inDrive since September 2024, Mohamed brings a strong background in leading large teams and overseeing complex software projects. Previously, Mohamed held multiple senior roles at Careem from April 2019 to September 2024, including Director of Software Engineering for the Mobility Platform and Maps, where oversight extended to 10 teams and 11 products, with a notable achievement of improving on-time deliveries by 20 percentage points. Earlier career highlights include significant contributions at Trusted Shops as Lead Platform Architect, and software development roles at appgenco, GCSSD, and various other companies. Mohamed holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Cairo University.
