Niyi Fadeyi

Niyi Fadeyi has an extensive work experience in the field of chemical sciences. Niyi is currently serving as the VP of Chemical Sciences at InduPro. Prior to this role, Niyi was the Head of Molecular Chemistry at Merck and also worked as a Molecular Inventions Scientist at the same company. Niyi has also held positions at Pfizer, where they worked as a Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology. Niyi's academic background includes roles as a UNCF/Merck Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University and a Graduate Student at Vanderbilt University. Niyi has also gained valuable industry experience through internships at Eli Lilly and Company. Additionally, Niyi is a Co-Founder of S.H.I.N.E, a STEM hub for industry navigation and exchange.

Niyi Fadeyi has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Obafemi Awolowo University, which they earned from 1997 to 2003. Niyi then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Synthetic/Organic Chemistry at Tennessee State University from 2005 to 2007. Fadeyi subsequently obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic/Synthetic/Medicinal chemistry from Vanderbilt University, completing their studies from 2007 to 2011. Finally, they pursued a Postdoctorate at Harvard University, specializing in Synthetic Chemistry & Chemical Biology, from 2012 to 2014.
