Akin Adediji

Combat Systems Project Engineer at INDUS Technology, Inc.

Akin Adediji has a diverse work experience history spanning several years. Akin started their career in 2014 as a UI Designer at Chinos & Gringos Food Truck and Capital Investments of Austin. At the same time, they also served as a UX Designer at Yoruba Progressive Association of Austin. In 2015, they worked as a Graphic Design Intern at 1-2 Simple Cooking and later transitioned to become a CTE Teacher at Lake Travis ISD. In 2016, they joined Lonestar Soccer Club as a Videographer. In 2017, they began their career in the US Navy as an Aviation Electrician, where they worked until 2023. During this time, they also worked as a Combat Systems Project Engineer at INDUS Technology, Inc. In 2018, Akin worked as a Rich Media Designer and Chief Equipment Technician at Pixellimeter Vilms. Throughout their work experience, Akin Adediji showcased their skills in various design roles and gained technical expertise in diverse industries.

Akin Adediji completed their education in a chronological manner. Akin first attended Vista Ridge High School from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained their High School Diploma with a field of study in PLTW Engineering. Following this, from 2010 to 2014, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Studio with an Emphasis in Graphic Design from the University of South Carolina Upstate. Lastly, Akin acquired their Master of Science degree in Unmanned Systems from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University between 2018 and 2020, specializing in Aeronautics & Design.

Additionally, Akin holds several certifications. These include PLTW Gateway - Design & Modeling from Project Lead The Way, Technology Applications EC-12 from the Texas Education Agency, and Technology Education 6-12, also from the Texas Education Agency.
