Cary Cheshire completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies at Santa Clara University from 1989 to 1993. In 2003, they enrolled in San Diego State University and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies in 2005.
In terms of additional certifications, Cary Cheshire earned a certification in "Big Data Foundations: Techniques and Concepts" from LinkedIn in February 2018. Cary also obtained the Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification from the American Society of Military Comptrollers in January 2013.
