Gaurav Sharma

Gaurav Sharma is an accomplished professional in data science and analytics with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as EVP and Head of Data Science and Lending Analytics at IndusInd Bank since August 2024, Gaurav previously held the position of Head of Data Science at Protium from May 2021 to August 2024 and served as VP Analytics at Indifi from September 2018 to May 2021. Notably, Gaurav boasts a long tenure at American Express from February 2006 to September 2018, where roles included Director in Global Merchant Services and Customer Risk Decision Science, as well as progression through various managerial positions in decision science. Gaurav began the professional career as an Associate Consultant at Fractal Analytics and holds a PGPM in Marketing and Finance from the Management Development Institute and a B. Tech in Electronics and Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia.
