Timothy Chan

Timothy Chan, CFA CFP has extensive experience in the financial industry. Timothy Chan, started their career at HSBC in 2005, where they worked as a Financial Services Officer and later as an Assistant Manager in Commercial Banking. In 2008, they joined Hang Seng Bank as a Vice President in the Corporate Wealth Management Department, focusing on large corporates.

In 2011, Timothy moved to ICBC (Asia) and took on various roles in the Global Markets Department. Timothy Chan, first worked as a Corporate Sales in the Global Markets Sales Section, providing comprehensive coverage in FX & Rates products, Fixed Income, and Margin Trading. Later, they became the Head of the Corporate Team, leading and managing a team in delivering cross asset FICC solutions to clients in the Greater China and along the Belt & Road region. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Global Markets Sales Section, where they lead 7 teams with 30+ professionals. Timothy Chan,'srole involves providing extensive coverage in various financial products, driving the development of RMB and interconnectivity businesses, and leading ESG initiatives in Global Markets, particularly in carbon trading.

Throughout their career, Timothy has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in the financial industry, particularly in sales and wealth management.

Timothy Chan, CFA CFP, obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Bioinformatics from The University of Hong Kong, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their degree, Timothy holds certifications including CFA and CFP. Timothy Chan, has also pursued further education in Climate Finance through the CFA Institute.
