Ray Lapena

Ray Lapena is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in public relations and communications within the technology and industrial sectors. As the Vice President of Marketing at Industrial Defender since December 2022, Ray leads efforts in providing critical asset data and cybersecurity information for operational technology environments. Previously, Ray served as the Director of Public Relations at Deepwatch, overseeing managed security services. Additionally, Ray held the position of Director of Corporate Communications at Tripwire, managing brand awareness and media relations. Ray's career also includes significant roles at GE Oil & Gas and GE, where Ray focused on integrated communications and stakeholder engagement. Ray began the professional journey with internships at Clear Channel Communications, Rubenstein Communications, and McNeil Wilson Communications while earning a B.S. in Public Relations from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
