Kevin Hodges

Kevin Hodges has extensive experience in the mining and geology sectors, currently serving as the Mining Industry Champion at the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa (Pty) Limited since July 2008, focusing on financing and developing mining projects. In addition to this role, Kevin holds directorship positions at Sheba's Ridge Platinum Pty Ltd and previously at Kolwezi Tailings SARL, as well as having been a board member of the Council for Geoscience of South Africa. Prior roles include Senior Projects Manager and Projects Manager at the Industrial Development Corporation, where Kevin led and developed various mining projects. With a foundational background in exploration and geology, Kevin began a career in the industry at Soekor and West Rand Consolidated before transitioning into project financing and management. Kevin earned a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology from the University of Natal between 1979 and 1985.
