Kanaka Gallage

Kanaka Gallage is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM), since January 2022, specializing in the mechanical design of busbars and components for high-volume switchgear production, with proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling. Previous experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineer at John Keells Properties, overseeing mechanical systems for apartment buildings in the Cinnamon Life project, and as a Mechanical Engineer at COLOMBO DOCKYARD PLC, focused on new ship construction. Kanaka also completed a Mechanical Engineering internship at MAS Holdings, working on mechatronic projects. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and high school education emphasizing physical sciences at Rahula College.
