Frederick Welsh

Frederick Welsh has extensive experience in fire service and emergency management, currently serving as Assistant Fire Chief at Industrial Emergency Services, LLC since January 2015, focusing on pipeline, terminals, and operational readiness. Prior to this role, Frederick worked at Booz Allen Hamilton from October 2011 to December 2014 as an Associate, providing strategic consulting to the HQ Marine Corps on CFAI assessments of USMC fire departments and apparatus procurement. Frederick's leadership experience includes serving as Fire Chief for both Sylvania Township Fire Department and College Park Volunteer Fire Department, as well as a Planning Manager with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, where an Acting Chief role was held from May 2003 to March 2005. Frederick began a fire fighting career at Edge Hill Fire Company from 1974 to 1982. Frederick holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus and has educational backgrounds from Delaware County Community College and Abington High School.
