Michael Khairzada

Michael Khairzada is a seasoned fire service professional with extensive experience at the Wilmington Fire Department, DE, where roles have included Captain at both Wilmington Fire Station #2 and the Marine Unit, and Lieutenant in various capacities, including overseeing engine companies and marine operations. Michael has held the position of Chair for the USCG Marine Firefighting Sub-committee since March 2019, collaborating on emergency response planning. Additional roles include Marine Fire Assessor for Industrial Emergency Services, LLC, and the Tri-state Maritime Safety Association, along with coordinating emergency management efforts in Elsinboro Township. Michael began a career in firefighting in 1997, developing a diverse skill set in both land and marine firefighting operations.
