Abdul Hafiz

Abdul Hafiz is a seasoned Senior Layout Artist at Industrial Light & Magic, with experience on high-profile projects such as "Severance S2," "Sonic the Hedgehog 3," "Wicked: Part 1," and "LOTR: The Rings of Power Season 02." Prior to this role, Abdul served as a Matchmove Artist at Lucasfilm from April 2013 to December 2023, specializing in camera matchmove and tracking, and completed a layout apprenticeship at the same company. Earlier in Abdul's career, a position as a 3D Generalist at CRITICA involved modeling and animation for TV commercials. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Animation from LASALLE College of the Arts and a Diploma in Animation Art from the same institution, complemented by technical training in Mechatronics.
