Alex Suter

Alex Suter is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the film industry and software development, currently serving as a Staff R&D Engineer and previously as a Software Engineer at Industrial Light & Magic since October 2000, focusing on the Creatures group within the Research and Development department. Prior to this role, Alex contributed as a Software Engineer at Flyswat for a brief period and at SPARTA Inc., specializing in 3D application programming on SGI workstations from February 1997 to September 1998. Alex's early career includes two summers as a Software Engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where programming Motif/XWindows applications was the primary responsibility. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, earned in June 2000.
