Chaitanya Kapu

Chaitanya Kapu is a seasoned professional in the field of visual effects and animation pipelines, currently serving as a Senior Pipeline TD at Industrial Light & Magic since September 2019. Prior experience includes a role as a Pipeline Developer at Technicolor from August 2018 to September 2019, where Chaitanya contributed to developing applications and frameworks using Shotgun Toolkit, along with enhancing existing tools. Previously, Chaitanya worked at Double Negative from January 2011 to July 2018 in various capacities, including Animation Pipeline TD and Assistant Technical Director, focusing on tool development, maintenance, testing, and documentation for the animation department, with a solid understanding of both visual effects and feature animation workflows. Chaitanya holds a Master's degree in Computer Animation and Visual Effects from Bournemouth University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
