Christopher Bannister

Christopher Bannister is an accomplished executive producer and visual effects expert with extensive experience in the film industry. Currently serving as the Executive Producer of Virtual Production at Industrial Light & Magic since November 2020, Christopher previously held the position of Senior Manager for Visual Effects at Lucasfilm from June 2019 to November 2020. Christopher's career began at Industrial Light & Magic in various roles including Associate Producer, Production Manager, Associate Production Manager, Production Coordinator, and Production Assistant from January 2009 to May 2019. Prior to this, Christopher worked at The Global Film Initiative as a Grant Evaluator and Film Education Writer from January 2007 to March 2009. Academically, Christopher holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an MFA in Cinema from San Francisco State University, and a BA in Film and Television from the University of Notre Dame.
