Jeff Sutherland

Jeff Sutherland has extensive experience in visual effects, currently serving as a Visual Effects Supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic since November 1999. Throughout this tenure, roles have included Associate VFX Supervisor, Compositing Supervisor, and Digital Compositor. Prior to joining Industrial Light & Magic, Jeff held the position of Digital Compositor at Rhythm & Hues for a brief period in 1998 and worked as a Digital Compositor at DKP Effects from January 1997 to April 1998. Jeff began a career in digital production as a Digital Production Specialist at The 3DO Company from August 1993 to December 1996. Academic qualifications include a BA in Journalism with a minor in Film Studies from Carleton University, completed between 1987 and 1991.
