Laurent Kermel

Laurent Kermel is a seasoned Senior FX Artist with extensive experience in the visual effects industry. Currently at Industrial Light & Magic since February 2014, Laurent has contributed to major titles including *Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania*, *Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker*, and *Rogue One: A Star Wars Story*. Previously, Laurent held the position of Senior FX Artist and Sequence Lead at DreamWorks Animation from October 2003 to December 2013, working on films such as *How to Train Your Dragon* and *Shrek 2*. Earlier career highlights include roles as Lead Technical Director at Jim Henson Company and Technical Director Supervisor at Mill Film. Laurent's academic background includes a Master's degree in Computer Visualization and Animation from Bournemouth University and a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art and Computer Graphics from Ecole nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts.
