Patricia Kavanaugh

Patricia Kavanaugh is a seasoned Senior Layout Artist at Industrial Light & Magic, where work has included significant contributions to high-profile projects such as 'Rogue One' and 'The Last Jedi.' Kavanaugh's academic experience includes serving as an Associate/Assistant Professor at California College of the Arts and as a Visiting Lecturer in Maya animation, in addition to teaching Previsualization & Animatics at the Academy of Art University. Early career highlights include roles as a Matchmove Artist at Tippett Studio and various freelance projects involving AutoCAD and Photoshop designs, motion graphics, and original music score production. Kavanaugh holds an MFA in Animation from UCLA and a BFA in Film from the San Francisco Art Institute.
