Mark Shutters has a diverse work experience in project management and control. Mark started their career as a cooperative education student at Bechtel Corporation in 1989. Mark then worked as a project control analyst and later as a project scheduler at Bechtel until 1998. After that, they joined Metromont Corporation as a senior project manager until 2001. Mark then worked at Faithful+Gould as a project control specialist, providing cost, schedule, and estimating support for construction projects. From 2005 to 2007, they served as a lean manufacturing manager at Metromont Corporation. Mark then worked at Wood Group Mustang as a project controls manager from 2007 to 2015. Following that, they worked at Global Management Partners in a similar role until 2017. Currently, they are a project controls manager at Industrial Project Innovation.

Mark Shutters obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Clemson University between the years 1988 and 1993.
