Janet Brown

Janet Brown is an experienced executive in the fields of recruiting and business communications, currently serving as Executive Director at Industrial Search Partners since October 2013, focusing on talent acquisition in industrial sectors. In addition, Janet co-owns Mary, Jane and Associates, a recruitment firm dedicated to the cannabis industry, since April 2021. Previously, Janet held significant roles at Cigna as Business Communications Director, at Edelman as Senior Vice President, and at FirstLight Commercial Finance as VP of Marketing & Communications. Janet's early career includes over a decade at GE, where various communications leadership positions were held across multiple divisions. Janet earned a BS in Communications from Ithaca College in 1990.
