Sergio Galindo

Sergio Galindo has a wealth of experience in various leadership roles within the packaging industry. Sergio currently serves as the CEO of Industrias del Envase since April 2019. Prior to that, they were the President of O-I's Asia Pacific region from June 2012 to May 2015, where they led strategic planning and implemented initiatives to drive financial and operational improvements. Sergio also served as the President of O-I's North America region from June 2015 to March 2018, overseeing a portfolio of 19 plants and a revenue of $2.2 billion. Before joining O-I, Galindo held the position of General Manager at Owens-Illinois Colombia for three years, where they achieved significant growth through strategic planning and operational improvements. Similarly, they held the role of General Manager at Owens-Illinois Peru, where they led the development of strategic plans and initiatives that resulted in substantial increases in profitability and production capacity.
