Sergio Galindo has a wealth of experience in various leadership roles within the packaging industry. Sergio currently serves as the CEO of Industrias del Envase since April 2019. Prior to that, they were the President of O-I's Asia Pacific region from June 2012 to May 2015, where they led strategic planning and implemented initiatives to drive financial and operational improvements. Sergio also served as the President of O-I's North America region from June 2015 to March 2018, overseeing a portfolio of 19 plants and a revenue of $2.2 billion. Sergio Galindo attended Technische Universität Berlin from 1988 to 1993, where they earned a Dipl. Ing degree in Maschinenbau. Sergio also pursued executive education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and The Wharton School, focusing on Value Investing and Executive Education respectively. Industrias del Envase
Industrias del Envase fue fundada por Cervecería Backus y Johnston, el 13 de Agosto del año 1971 con el nombre de Industrial Cacer, dedicándose a la fabricación de cajas plásticas para botellas de cerveza. En el año 1995, fusiona a Imprenta Amaru, que se dedicaba a la impresión de etiquetas y envases de cartón decorados, y cambia de nombre a su actual denominación. En 2011, la compañía fue adquirida por BO Packaging, perteneciente al Grupo BO con operaciones en Norteamérica y Sudamérica. BO Packaging además posee plantas productivas en Santiago de Chile y Ponta Grossa en Brasil de envases Flexibles, Termoformado, Inyección, Soplado y de Polipapel.
