Tomas Bie

Tomas has more than two decades of experience in Technology including senior operational leadership, investor roles, and own entrepreneurial experience.

Before joining Industrifonden, Tomas held international executive roles in London and Zurich for businesses such as Currys Ltd, a leading European electronic retailer, and EF Education first, a world leading education company. Tomas has propelled digitalization transformations and data-driven transitions, as well as revamped customer journeys, to boost sales and profitability. During his tenures, Tomas has directed various areas including product, tech, data, analytics, BI, and AI development.

Tomas brings more than a decade of previous experience managing early-stage, growth, and impact investments. In addition, he spent time serving as a management consultant with BCG and has entrepreneurial experience as the founder of an early European B2C mobile first company backed by US and UK investors.

Tomas covers B2C, MarTech, ERP, Data, Analytics and AI investments for Industrifonden.

Tomas holds a MSc from Industrial Engineering and Management with KTH, Royal Institute of Technology.
