Julie Strupp

Julie Strupp is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles across various media platforms. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at Industry Dive since August 2021, Julie focuses on infrastructure topics while covering low-carbon materials, resilience, federal regulations, and litigation in the building industry. Julie's background includes significant positions such as Digital Producer at WAMU 88.5, Managing Editor at Greater Greater Washington, and Reporter at DCist.com, among others. With a strong commitment to inclusivity and representation in journalism, Julie has developed programs such as the Urbanist Journalism Fellowship and has worked on promoting gender equity through initiatives in the Peace Corps. Holding a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Julie has also studied Political Science and French at Université Gaston-Berger.
