Marcela Montero

Marcela Montero serves as the Director of the Hispanic Business Council at Indy Chamber since July 2021 and also holds the position of Member Relations Manager. In addition, Marcela has been a CASA Volunteer at Child Advocates, Inc. since September 2020. Previous professional experience includes serving as a Revenue Manager Assistant at General Hotels Corporation from September 2017 to June 2020, where responsibilities included optimizing rooms revenue through various distribution channels and developing sales strategies. Prior roles also include Front Office Manager at I Hotel and Conference Center from July 2014 to May 2017, overseeing a team to enhance customer service and revenue, and Guest Services Supervisor at Wyndham Vacation Ownership from September 2011 to June 2014. Marcela Montero holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, obtained between 2006 and 2008.
