Indy Public Safety Foundation
The Indy Public Safety Foundation exists to enhance the safety and quality of life in Indianapolis, by providing financial and other support to the City’s first responders and the Indianapolis Department of Public Safety. The Indy Public Safety Foundation is a charitable, non-profit organization that was founded by motivated civic leaders in order to assist the Indianapolis Department of Public Safety in it's mission. These civic leaders believe that Safety is the cornerstone of a strong, economically viable Indianapolis. There are multiple challenges facing Public Safety that will benefit from the Foundation’s existence. Broadly speaking, there are needs for organizational and management enhancement as well as direct support of the thousands of front-line first responders in our City. By using the "Time, Talent, and Treasure" model of philanthropy, the Foundation provides a vehicle for the large number of talented community leaders, businesses, academic institutions, and regular citizens eager to contribute to Public Safety in Indianapolis.
