Laura Davison

Laura oversees INEE's work on gender, policy, and evidence, providing strategic guidance and management oversight as part of INEE's Senior Leadership Team. Laura directly supports INEE's partnerships with Global Affairs Canada on girls’ education and with UNHCR and the Education Cluster on an initiative to strengthen EiE coordination. Laura joined the Secretariat in 2015 and brings over 10 years’ experience in the humanitarian sector with expertise in facilitation, project management, and partnership development.

Laura has a passion for education and an ambition that equitable access to quality education can be achieved for all children, regardless of circumstances. After spending her undergraduate days contemplating “big questions” around inequality, the existence of God, interreligious and intrareligious conflict, and sexual and reproductive ethics through an M.A. in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Cambridge, she solidified her theoretical knowledge of international education policy through an M.Ed. at the Harvard Graduate School of Education as a Swiss Fulbright scholar. She is currently Washington D.C.-based.
