Binh Nguyen

Binh Nguyen, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. Currently, Binh is a Principal Research Scientist at INEOS, where they have been working since September 2021. Prior to this role, Binh held the position of Senior Research Scientist at INEOS from April 2019 to September 2021. Binh also worked as an Analytical Chemist at INEOS from April 2018 to April 2019.

Before joining INEOS, Binh worked at W. R. Grace & Co. as an R&D Manager from July 2016 to September 2017. Prior to that, Binh was an R&D Manager at BASF from January 2007 to June 2016.

Binh's early career experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Glaxo Wellcome, where they were involved in inhalation product development and used HPLC to monitor the results of Cascade Impaction. Binh held this position from July 1999 to August 2000.

Binh Nguyen, PhD, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from East Carolina University from 1995 to 1999. They then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Organic Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin from 2000 to 2005. Following this, Binh completed a postdoctoral program in Organic Chemistry at Texas A&M University from 2005 to 2006. In addition to their academic qualifications, Binh also holds various certifications in areas such as Business Foundations, Project Management, Six Sigma, ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor, and Process Safety Fundamentals.
