Cesar Torres

Asset Care Project Team Lead at INEOS

Cesar Torres has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Cesar started their career at Albemarle in 2000 as a Maintenance Engineer before moving on to BP in 2002. At BP, they held various roles including Support Asset Reliability Engineer, Asset Reliability Engineer for the Sulfur Recovery Unit, Maintenance Engineer for the HF Alkylation Unit, and Maintenance Engineering Superintendent. Cesar played a key role in planning and executing unit outages, organizing reliability meetings, and managing the budget for external engineering services. In 2013, Cesar joined Plains All American as a Project Engineering Manager, where they oversaw the execution of capital projects and successfully negotiated the first integrated Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project. Cesar also served as the Lead Incident Investigator, implementing a safety recognition program and developing incident investigation policies. Currently, Cesar is working at INEOS as the Mechanical Engineering Team Lead and Asset Care Project Team Lead, responsible for the development of new mechanical engineering hires and initiating workflow enhancements for the site drawing control center.

Cesar Torres has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
