Colin Jardine

Colin Jardine is an experienced Control Room Operator and Process Technician with a robust background in the petrochemical and liquefied natural gas industries. Currently employed at INEOS since February 2018, Colin operates the KG Ethylene Plant, specializing in cold side operations. Previous experience includes a Senior Operator position at Diageo and multiple roles at Ineos, where responsibilities included controlling the KG Ethylene Cracker and managing process production operations. With an extensive tenure at National Grid from September 1997 to March 2013, Colin served as a Duty Shift Storage Engineer, overseeing safe operations of a Top Tier COMAH LNG Storage Installation, and gained hands-on experience as a Jetty Engineer during a secondment. Colin began as a Storage Apprentice, achieving NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance and HNC qualifications in instrumentation and electrical systems. Education was completed at McLaren High in Callander from 1990 to 1996.
