Thomas Mertes

Thomas Mertes is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in production and procurement, currently serving as Team Leader of Reactor Production at INERATEC since August 2020. Previously, Thomas held the role of Mechanical Engineer in Production and Procurement at INERATEC GmbH and worked as a student in the production area, where responsibilities included optimizing production processes and assisting in the assembly of microstructured reactors. A Master Thesis focused on the digitization of production processes further complements academic qualifications, including a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Earlier work experience includes roles at L'Oréal in service logistics and an internship at Daimler AG in project management for plant engineering.
