Dr. Tanja Schmidt

Dr. Tanja Schmidt currently serves as Geschäftsführende Gesellschafterin at INES Analytics GmbH since February 2021 and has been a Senior Researcher and Partnerin at Institut für empirische Sozial- und Wirtschaftsforschung (INES Berlin) since July 2014. Prior to these roles, Dr. Schmidt operated as a self-employed social researcher at Schmidt-Sozialforschung.de from February 2001 to May 2014 and held the position of Gastprofessorin for social sciences with a focus on economics and gender relations at Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin from July 2012 to October 2013. Dr. Schmidt earned a Doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) from Helmut-Schmidt-Universität/Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg and completed a Diplom in Sociology and Statistics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München between 1991 and 1996.
