Alex Mikszewski

Vice President Of Building Decarbonization / Energy Solutions at INF Associates

Alex Mikszewski has a diverse work background spanning multiple industries and roles. They began their career as an NNEMS Fellow at USEPA OSRTI in 2004. They then worked as a Project Engineer for Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. from 2005 to 2007, followed by a role as a Project Engineer at Woodard & Curran from 2007 to 2013.

In 2013, Mikszewski transitioned to Amec Environment & Infrastructure UK Limited, where they served as a Senior Engineer until 2016. They then joined the Brooklyn Public Library, first as an Energy Manager from 2016 to 2018, and then as the Director of Building Operations & Sustainability from 2018 to 2018.

In 2018, Mikszewski moved on to The Metropolitan Museum of Art as an Assistant Engineering Manager / Energy Programs, a position they held until 2020. They then worked as the Director of Expense Funded Retrofits at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York from 2020 to 2021.

Following that, Mikszewski became the Vice President, Earth & Environment at WSP USA from 2021 to 2023. They are currently working as the Vice President of Building Decarbonization / Energy Solutions at INF Associates since July 2023.

Throughout their career, Mikszewski has displayed a focus on sustainability, energy solutions, and the environment, holding various leadership positions in these areas.

Alex Mikszewski earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University, from the years 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering and Science at The Johns Hopkins University, from 2005 to 2007.
