Daniel Pastula is a distinguished professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, holding multiple titles including Professor of Neurology, Medicine (Infectious Diseases), and Epidemiology, as well as Section Chief for Neuro-Infectious Diseases and Global Neurology. Pastula also serves as Fellowship Director for Neuro-Infectious Diseases and Autoimmune Neurology and directs Global Neurology Education. Contributions extend to roles at the Colorado School of Public Health and the State of Colorado as Vice President of the State Board of Health. Additionally, Pastula is affiliated with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and is a member of the U.S. Polio Eradication National Certification Committee. An alumnus of Duke University with a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Health Sciences, and Brown University with a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics, Pastula is currently pursuing an MBA in Managing for Sustainability at the University of Colorado Denver.
