Robert Colgrove is a distinguished medical professional with extensive experience in infectious diseases. As the Medical Director for Diagnostics and an Attending Physician at Mount Auburn Hospital since July 2005, Robert has also served as Interim Chief of Infectious Diseases. In addition, Robert holds leadership roles within the Infectious Diseases Society of America as Chair and Vice Chair of the Diagnostics Committee. Robert's academic contributions include positions as an Attending Physician in Infectious Diseases and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mt. Auburn Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Robert previously co-chaired the COVID-19 Testing Workgroup at Beth Israel Lahey Health from May 2020 to June 2021. Robert's educational background includes a medical residency, fellowship, and postdoctoral training in infectious diseases from Harvard Medical School, as well as an MD from the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine, complemented by a foundational education at Caltech.
