She has over 37 years of experience working for the Government of India in various capacities such as undersecretary in Ministry of Finance, Joint Secretary (equivalent) in Department of Space, Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat. She has been featured in Coffee Table Book brought out by the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Gujarat.
