Christian Riesch

Christian Riesch is a seasoned professional in electrical engineering with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as Senior Director of Research at INFICON since November 2016, Christian has held various leadership roles including Head of Development for Capacitive Sensors and Innovation. Previous positions include Lecturer at Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences, focusing on electronic components and circuits, and Hardware Engineer at OMICRON electronics, specializing in embedded systems hardware design. Early career experience includes a Research Assistant role at Vienna University of Technology, contributing to research on miniaturized sensors within an Austrian Science Fund project. Christian holds a PhD and Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering from the Vienna University of Technology, alongside additional education from Aalborg University and HTL Rankweil.
