Sara Steed

Sara (Rotz) Steed currently serves as the Senior Director of Research, as well as the Director of Finance and Administration and the Director of Pre-Award Shared Services at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus since November 2021. Prior to this role, Sara held several positions at Indiana University from December 2016 to October 2021, including Grant Services Manager and Senior Grant Consultant. Sara's earlier experience includes roles as Federal Aid Coordinator at the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and Grant Coordinator at the Indiana Department of Environmental Management. Additional experience encompasses positions at the Indiana Primary Health Care Association, Indiana Canine Assistance Network, Sports Authority, and Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master of Public Affairs in Nonprofit Management from Indiana University Indianapolis.
