Raghul Asokan

Raghul Asokan has been working in the field of Artificial Intelligence for the past 4 years. Raghul started their career at Zoho Corporation in 2016 as a Deep Learning Engineer at ZohoLabs R&D. Raghul's role involved developing an end-to-end Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Pipeline for Zoho Expense, as well as developing and productionizing deep learning models for Text recognition and Synthetic data generation. In 2018, they moved to Infilect as the Director of AI R&D, and later became the Head of AI R&D and AI Platform Lead. In this role, they were responsible for solving challenging computer vision problems in retail, as well as Object Detection and Fine-grained Image classification.

Raghul Asokan graduated from SSN College of Engineering in 2016 with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Marian Matriculation HS School from 2010 to 2012, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera.
