Cal Pitruzzello

Cal Pitruzzello is a Product Design Engineer at Infiltrator Water Technologies, specializing in decentralized wastewater treatment solutions since June 2022. Previously, Cal held the position of President of the UConn Formula SAE, leading the team to develop its members into future leaders. As the Aerodynamics and DAQ Lead, Cal initiated the development of the team's first aerodynamic packages using Solidworks and computational fluid dynamics. Cal's experience includes internships at Nimbus Power Systems, where a spring-loaded fuel cell stack assembly was designed, ABB, where product development was initiated for a new offering, and RevMedica, Inc., where a mechanism calculator was created for surgical device applications. Cal is currently pursuing certificates in Financial Accounting and Leading with Finance from Harvard Business School Online and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
