Samir Shaik

Samir Shaik has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the IT field. Samir is currently the VP of Infrastructure and Security at infinant Inc since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of DevOps and Technology Automation at Summit Technology Consulting Group from December 2021 to August 2022. Samir also served as an IT Architect Specialist and later as an IT Architect Senior at FIS from June 2020 to December 2021. Samir has extensive experience as a Technical Delivery Manager at Zenmonics Inc. from September 2014 to June 2020, where their responsibilities included creating Helm charts for Kubernetes deployment and automating deployment using Jenkins pipeline and Helm charts. Before Zenmonics, they worked at iGATE Global Solutions as a Manager Projects from April 2008 to September 2014, where they worked on banking and financial services applications and handled responsibilities such as system migration and integration. Samir started their career as a Software Engineer at Ness Technologies (India) Private Limited from September 2006 to April 2008, primarily working on retail products.

Samir Shaik completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Goa University, which they attended from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in February 2022, HashiCorp Certified: Vault Associate (002) from HashiCorp in September 2022, HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in September 2021, CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in August 2020, CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in August 2020, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2018.
